My English teacher/student teacher will look directly at me when my hand is raised and no one else has theirs raised, smile, and chose someone who wasn’t raising their hand.
like i know teachers are supposed to that but she like never calls on me to answer a question how rude
my math teacher does the same thing
oh man welcome to my entire school life
once in Spec Maths in year 12 the teacher was telling us which problems we had to do and he’s like “now it’s probably gonna take you a while to work this one out” and then he goes “except Tom will probably know it immediately” with like an exasperated throw-hands-in-the-air gesture
man I miss maths
gotta do more maths
smart people problems
I feel so weird about reading the above stuff, because I empathise, but I didn’t know I wasn’t alone.
lunch break, spent convincing Gary he should watch kill bill. also… this morning had been terrible, I dropped a ladder on my knuckle and dropped a bottle of baby shampoo, nozzle side down in my shoe, needless to say, instead of buying lunch, I instead bought new tights, due to mine being SOAKED. This day can only get better.
Mudita (Pāli and Sanskrit: मुदित) in Buddhism is joy. It is especially sympathetic or vicarious joy, the pleasure that comes from delighting in other people’s well-being rather than begrudging it. The traditional paradigmatic example of this mind-state is the attitude of a parent observing a growing child’s accomplishments and successes, but it is not to be confounded with proudness as the person feeling mudita must not have any interest or direct income from the accomplishments of the other.
that’s me…. am I internet famous yet?
Lol, it’s my Drunktits doodle from Octo’s Princess Maker 2 stream. XD
